Chromic Acid
An odorless red deliquescent solid, Chromic Acid forms as a result of the reaction of sodium dichromate with concentrated sulfuric acid. Chromic Acid supplied by us is widely used for chromium plating especially in the production of automobiles and as a colorant in ceramics. It’s also used in other metal-finishing operations like aluminum anodizing, especially on military aircraft; chemical conversion coatings, providing both decoration and corrosion protection; and the production of phosphate films on galvanized iron or steel.
